A Monsoon Wedding

A Monsoon Wedding...without the rain :) This weekend I was a part of a dear friend's wedding, and though there was a chance of rain, not one drop put a damper on the day! It was a beautiful South Asian affair complete with a stunning bride, elegant decor, awesome food, and dancing! I wore a jewel-toned pink, purple, white and gold shalwar kameez with a dusty rose gown-style jacket. To compliment the jewel tones, I stuck to gold accessories and rocked a matching bold pink lip (Mac's Flat Out Fabulous). And as you can see, I also got henna! I wore my hair out in my signature braidout, making my whole look very comfortable and easy going from head to toe. I absolutely loved my outfit and had a blast!

  4. This is an incredibly beautiful space to have a wedding reception. The space at wedding venue in Los Angeles is a long hall with a few side rooms (perfect for dancing and hor d'oeuvres). The windows at the end of the hall led to a magnificently gorgeous panoramic views of the city.
